Gut Healing Winter Tea

Tea is amazing to reduce bloating and calming your gut. Certain herbs and spices are especially gut-healing and perfect for winter! When cooking with the peel make sure to buy organic produce and wash it well.

Eating a variety of fruits and vegetables is important for maintaining good gut health. Certain fruits, such as oranges, lemons, apples and ginger, can help improve digestive issues and support overall gut health.

Oranges are packed with vitamins C and A, which contribute to healthy digestion by increasing the production of digestive enzymes and promoting nutrient absorption. Lemons are a great source of dietary fiber, which helps maintain regular bowel movements and aid digestion. Apples contain pectin, a type of soluble fiber that helps increase the number of beneficial bacteria in the gut. Ginger has natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that can help reduce bloating and support digestive health.

Cinnamon is a powerful spice that can also help support digestive health. It has been shown to reduce inflammation in the gut, lessen acid reflux symptoms and increase nutrient absorption. All of these amazing fruits and spices have many benefits for overall digestive health, so make sure to include them in your daily diet!
